Last Friday, I ordered the Laguna Driftmaster from AMAZON.COM. It arrived on Wednesday afternoon. The box was delivered while I was away from home. When I took the box up to my shop, I discovered the box was badly damaged. There were three very large holes punched through the bottom of the box. When I removed everything from the box, I discovered several piecies of the hardware missing. An inspection of the fence disclosed several large scratches and three gouges in the fence face. The top and bottom edge of the fence looked like someone had taken a hammer to it. Yesterday, I contacted Amazon and Laguna tools. I got little to no help from Amazon. All they would say is that the fence was no longer in stock. At Laguna I spoke with Rick and Tim. They couldn’t have been more helpful to me. They are sending me a replacement for the fence and the missing hardware at no cost to me. Both Rick and Tim were very professional and bent over backwards to help me. The service they provided me was outstanding. I would not hesitate to purchase another Laguna tool in the future. Hopefully, after I get the fence installed I can do a review of the fence. -- P Kennedy Crossville, TN |
