Greetings all,
I am in the process of finishing up my latest project (and my first that is not for the shop) which is a headboard for our guest room bed. My wife wants it painted white, so I was wondering if there is a finish that can be put on to protect the paint. I planned on using an oil-based paint based on a suggestion.

Disclaimer: I realize that this question has probably been asked numerous times, but searching through forum would hinder my wife’s deadline.
