Alder planks put up for drying

I have built a drying sled(17”x12’) out of 2 2×4 and a number of wooden stakes I had around. Then I leveled it both ways.


Painted ends (Check Stop)

Finished stacking and strapped stack in four places(12’ cargo strap’s got at lows) Now all I will do is Cover top with old roofing tin and skirt sides with a typar type product.

I hope they will be happy…...... I will check on them from time to time

they say a year a 1” of with but it very s. the wood will stay hear for 4 month and then I will bring in side

Very well done. I like the idea of straps instead of adding weight to the top. How did you mill these up?

these were cut on a band saw mill. Buddy was cutting fence and deck broads. So I asked if he could mill up a alder for me.(90$)
