Topic tags/keywords: jewelry wood designs free

I would love it if folks could take a moment and give me some input on where I can find FREE designs for making scroll saw jewelry. I thought, perhaps, someone might be able to help me find jewelry designs that are not made of wood, but could be adapted. Anyway, any suggestions would be appreciated.

Jewelry is art in itself. Just let yourself go and shape your woods and finish them as the mood feels at the time. Be yourself, you are an original!

I’ve made maple leaf pins and matching pendant necklace and ear rings of my own design. Thought about doing some intarsia type pins and pendants, but never got around to it.
Patterns? Who needs them? Nature supplies the inspiration.

You could look at other people’s designs and copy or modify to your own tastes. Some of the sales sites like esty or ebay have a lot of hand-made designs. Looking at what other people have done can also help inspire you to design your own ideas. There could some gray area if you want to sell a piece of jewlery that is a copy of something someone else made.
I don’t know of any free plans, but I found some inspiration from a friend’s bead jewlery books. I saw something she was working on and thought it would look better if the big bead was a piece of wood and went from there.

I’m all for being ORIGINAL! Get some paper and pencil and go for it! Nature has many wonderful designs that can be copied or incorporated. Pick some objects and play with the shapes and your imagination. Above all HAVE FUN!

Less is more, so a simpler design can be more elegant and easier to make. Don’t complicate things, go simple.
