Finally, an afternoon back in the shop. The temps are in the 30’s outside, but the propane heater is keeping the chill out.

I have to ask, how does a workshop that is not been used in weeks get so messy? Tools are out of place, empty bags of ice melt, shovels and snow removal gear all over the place and a pile of buckets just inside the door… The place needs a good cleaning. So, that’s what I’ve been spending my day doing. Just cleaning up and making it somewhat orderly.

Now, I need to come up with a project for the 2×4 contest.

Chris,

It’s good to hear you’re finally getting back in the shop after such a long stretch w/o it. I really get to missing mine when I know i can’t get in it. I think we as woodworkers do, especially when we get used to being there, and can’t. I’d prolly go with the orange- looking bottle in the middle on the top shelf. It looks tasty.

That would be the Landshark Lager. I went with Harpoon IPA. Perfect for a snowy afternoon. And helps me prepare for Paddy’s Day.

You must keep a powerful thrist on to have that hooch in the fridge. I’m not a drinker, so I keep Mt. Dew on hand if I get parched..lol..!!

A good Irishman would have nothing less.

My wife doesn’t drink, so I keep it out here and out of the house. Plus, when the warmer weather is here, I host Friday Drive Way Happy Hour. The neighbors and friends come by after work with food for the grill and some drinks. So, I keep the fridge stocked. Also, I have some friends at a local brewery, they also keep me supplied.

Pictures like that are just cruel to those of us in the west. We can’t get Yuengling! And it’s only the best beer on the planet. :(

Sorry brother. We had that problem once. For years we couldn’t get it in New England. Every time I went to PA, I would fill the truck with all the cases I could carry. We had a regular network of friends that would do the same. We would all share with each other. Now, they distribute here. Funny thing is that some of the fun of having Yuengling is gone.
