Laguna Driftmaster Fence for $275

Thanks for the information, I actually own this fence but paid full retail for it. I put it on my laguna 24” saw, it is an excellent fence and worth the retail price. I wish i would have been able to purchase it for the prices listed on amazon. Stan in what application do you use this fence?

Yeah I know to little, too late. Maybe they’ll send me some money back for posting this LOL. I do alot of bookmatching, and find the uniform width cutting function to be right on the money.

I own this fence and a 16Hd laguna band saw, It works OK, but both are over priced and a rather crudely made fence.

I agree with Jim. I think this fence has a nice concept – real nice, but also really overpriced…

Yep expensive when you consider it’s just a fence ! In my opinion a good fence needs a good saw to be perfect.I do though like laguna very much.I spent a lot of money when buying my bandsaw over £2500 pounds sterling plus delivery costs of four hundred miles but it has been worth it I like the fence that came with it..it’s by an italian company sagittario (spelling) I don’t know if they sell this model in the states mine was the second biggest I hope you have great success and much fun with yours Alistair

I enoy my Fence. It does what it was designed to do, Repetive slicing of veneers.

I don’t persoanllly own the Laguana fence, but my nieghbor has it. He just raves about this fence. As a result he has me considering purchasing the fence. The Amazon.com write up on the fence indicated it can be used on the Delta, Jet and Grizzley saws. I have the Rikon Delux 14” bansaw, while it is not specifically listed in the write-up, I don’t see why it wouldn’t fit my saw. Does anyone know for sure? pkennedy

I have a pretty good relationship with my salesman at Laguna. When I called in for my fence I was skeptical that it would fit well. He explained to me that it will fit any bandsaw from a 14 in. and up, it utilizes universal mounting brackets that adapt to any machine. I used these mounting brackets and it took about 45 minutes to install my fence. Honestly it’s the best bandsaw fence I have used, and because of my experience with laguna I fully support there products.

I talked with my neighbor about the Laguana fence. He says he has used his bandsaw more since purchasing this fence than in the previous 20 years he has owned the saw. I also spoke with a Laguana Rep and he assured me the fence would fit my saw. I took the plunge and order the fence from Amazon.com. pkennedy
