Jocks,

My dad has this saw and needs a fence for it. As I’m the woodworker and he isn’t it falls to me to find a fence for him. The problem is he uses the saw but not enough to spend much. I know there is a great Delta fence that you can get a Lowes now and then but even $100 is much more than he wants to spend. Any pointers are greatly appreciated.

try making your own miter gauge make a big ass cross cut sled those work better then miter gauges because they can keep your hands away and you can attach clamps or stop blocks to the back of the sled

I’m not going to be much help here but you may have to talk to your Dad about setting his budget way below the current market.
As father’s day is comming up why not step up to the plate for him?
