Topic tags/keywords: question

We have another wave of projects like the step stools and this time it is cutting boards.

I think these are coming from a school shop class and I am happy to see shop being taught in a school. It is great to see the projects posted.

I would really like to see some information about the school and shop class.

EDIT: (Sorry. I was thinking about a different Topic)

EDIT 2: I had a look at one of the one’s you are talking about Redoak.

He did pretty well on the explanation part.

“I made this beauty in the Wahoo High School wood shop, thanks to my woods teacher, Mr.Herrera. I used an alternating pattern of Walnut, Cherry, and Maple to create this design. This board is exclusively hardwoods, so I can have practical use for it in life, or someone might. I used several coats of mineral oil to finish the wood, giving it the very colorful look. A lot of sanding, routing, and finishing took place to make this work of art.”

I THINK Mr. Herrera is a member here.
