1. A way to jump to a specific page in the “projects” tab. There are currently some 1100 pages of projects; I’ve been skimming through them and I’m up to about page 200. Whenever I take up where I left off, I have to click from page 1. The best I can do is jump about 3 pages at a time. This is kind of tedious, and I’ve got 900+ pages to look through. If not a jump to an exact page, how about a 20, 50 and 100 page skip option?

Edit: Ha! I just realized I can just change the page number in the URL for an exact page jump!

2. A way to search for a specific member, or an alphabetical member sort. The search box at the top is too broad; searching, for example, “Bill Smith” results in every occurrence of “Bill” or “Smith”, from projects, forum, blogs, comments, etc.

on #2 you actually answered yourself in the question.

Do a search for “bill smith” with quotations around it.. it will only give you exactly what is in quotations. So bill for all the bills. smith for all the smiths and “bill smith” for bill smith.

When you find what you want, click one of the areas, forums, blogs, etc. at the top of the page to get it only from that area.

This works with all search engines on the net as far as I know.
