I am seeking any woodworker who has hardwood they want to get rid off after they cut off the ends. Let me explain. A lot of us have wood we use on larger projects that we cutoff off of longer boards. It may be a split end or checkered end, or has an undesirable knot in it. This may be wood for the furnace to some but to me it is gold and very valuable. I can use anything that is 4”x4’” or more. It doesn’t matter if it is thick or thin. I will ripsaw this on my band saw to the widths I use. So instead of just throwing that old hardwood scrap into the fire. Put in a box and I will buy it from you. Rockler sells their cutoffs at $30.00 a box. It is called assorted wood. I will buy any box that is full of wood. I prefer maple, walnut, cherry, paduka, Philippine mahogany, ash, butternut, zebra wood, just about any hardwood extras that you have laying around. The 4”x4” would be the smallest I would like to go so I don’t have to do any glue ups. Please tell your other wood workers about this offer and contact me if you are interested. I can be reached by PM or email on here. I will pay for shipping. I hope to hear from you soon. If I can find a good supplier I will stick with them and build the toy company from these shipments.

How much are you offering? What size box? Pay before shipping wood?

Recently, I looked at all the scraps that I had lying around and cut them up quickly into 3/4 X 3/4 X 5 1/8” Came up with about 115 of them, (pen blanks), that I put in a medium flat rate box and sold it on eBay. Got a lousy $19.99 for it plus $12 shipping after 10 days of bidding. Some guy in North Dakota got a heck of a deal. At least half of those were exotics.
Never again…

Currently I am BURIED in scrap wood. Nice thing is that I never hurt for any when I have small projects.
Bad thing is I can’t turn around in my shop.
Feel like a road trip? I’ll unload a pick-up load on you. Too bad you’re not in Georgia.
