Anyone got an idea of what this Jet JWP-15CS upgraded with a helical cutterhead might be worth if it runs well? Its an earlier 2000’s build and I was thinking around $1,000 absolute max. Am I off one way or another you think?

1000$ would be a great deal in my opinion if everything is kosher. A new one with quick change knives is gonna cost around 2k$. I’d pay maybe 1400-1500 at the top end and still feel good about it.

The 15” Grizzly’s with the helical cutterheads were on sale lat last year for under $1500 and they are having a huge tent sale in May not far from me. I am sure they will be close to that price. So buying a machine from the early 2000’s needs to be at the right price. I have received a couple emails from friends who stated about the $900-1,000 range in top condition which I think is in the right ballpark.

I’m debating whether to upgrade my 15” Woodtech which would cost $750-900. I would be all over that Jet for $1000 if it works well.
