I am going to fume some table tops that I am building. There are 7 of them and I would like to fume them all at once if possible. I am wondering if I separate them with pyramids or small wooden tabs will it leave marks where these are? Or will it seep in under it. Trying to thing of the best way to consolidate them into a manageable area and still get a uniform finish.

J.D., you could make a simple frame like a bread cooling rack or a shelving rack without the shelves and run screws up through the rails so your tops will sit on the screws. If you could include a small fan inside your tent, it would help make the fuming even throughout the tent. I hope this is understandable.

Make sure that said fan is explosion proof. It is probably alright if it is brushless. Ammonia and air, when properly mixed, can ignite. In general, a flame is below the ignition temperature for ammonia in air, but it may be different with a spark source.

Are these the table tops you wrote about in this thread?
