Topic tags/keywords: bandsaw novice entry level

Greetings everyone,
I am brand new to the site and would like some sound advice on choosing the right bandsaw. Due to space being an issue I believe I am limited to a bench top design. The only drawback I see with that is losing the capability of larger projects involving resawing. At this time I don’t do any resawing so i wouldn’t really be missing out. My current budget puts me in the $300-350 range but I’m willing to go a little higher if quality noticeably improves. With all the research I’ve done so far the Rikon 10-305 seems like a great entry level bandsaw but I am open to suggestions? Thank you in advance for any feedback and advice

Nice used ones can be had for around $50 give or take.. just stay away from the three wheelers.

Cheers,
Brad
