Ok, so here’s my challenge (today at least), I have a Sargent 1068 Tongue and Groove plane, and the tonguing blade is out of square and beyond recovery. Anyone know if the same size T&G Stanley 148 blades would work in the Sargent 1068? I know St. James Tool company sells replacements for the 148. Both cut a 1/4” groove. Any thoughts about how to estimate whether this would be the case are appreciated. Thanks.
