Hi guys, I have a Rockwell 3/8 Drill Press Model 10, No. 31-210. Sometimes I use the drill for small pieces that I need to hold with my hand. Of course this isn’t ideal….would love to be able to clamp the material down. Any suggestions? I contacted Rockwell using their chat service and the kid said they don’t “have any pieces or service available for anything older than 2000”.

Thank you!

My father owns the same press. Just use any clamp you have to clamp things to the table. C clamp, f-clamp whatever is handy.

I’d suggest making or buying an add-on table if you don’t have one. Preferably with t-tracks so you can use clamps that slide into the tracks.
Otherwise I’ve found that a wooden screw-clamp works really well to hold pieces, and you can then clamp the screw-clamp to the table pretty handily.
