These look to be the saw saw, I tried Steel City and was told that they do not have them and they can not get them either.

Wondering if anyone has an idea as to where to look for one. I asked is the riser kit for one of their other saw was compatible and if not what was different.

The Steel City riser block kit is 50126R.

Anyone have any suggestions?

Anyone have experience in if the longer guide bar and extended blade guards are interchangeable between saws?

Search “bandsaw riser block” at amazon.com

There’s several listed. One of them should cross over, perhaps minor modifications will need to be done.

Making the riser block work or even machining a new one out of a block of steel really isn’t too much of an issue.

I am wondering if the components like the longer guide bar and longer blade guards are sort of a universal fit and with a little tweaking can be made to work.

Well I found out that Ridgid does have a riser block available, p/n: AC02RB1 But it’s $250
Amazon Link for Ridgid AC02RB1 Riser Kit

Looking at the pictures of the kit, it looks like a universal kit that will fit any Ridgid bandsaw. From reading different forum posts, it seems like a Grizzly Riser kit for a G0555 bandsaw should fit. Well the block should fit, the guide bar and guards are a maybe. They looks to be very similar.

Can someone confirm is the Grizzly guide bar is 20 mm in dia (.787 inches) and has a profile like this:

I ended up buying the Ridgid Riser block kit, it comes with all the parts for any Ridgid bandsaw. So you end up paying for parts you don’t need.
