A few years ago I met a kid who lives on Lake Vermilion—sort of up by you, Dick—who has never missed a day of school despite the fact that there are no roads to his house. He takes a boat to shore and then walks up to the end of the road where he gets on the bus. He goes across in a 14’ open aluminum fishing boat until he can’t keep the lake open, then he walks until the ice is thick enough for a snowmobile.

Still, the zip line looks to be a bit more dangerous.
