I have some lumber from a barn that was torn down. Its good lumber but I would like to use it for furniture. The only issue I have is with bugs and other critters that could hide in it. I would like to dry it but I do not have access to a klin and do not know of one. Is there a easy way to treat the wood that is safe to cut and mill afterwards? Maybe a chemical I could spray on with a spray bottle and then let it set? Any suggestions?
