For all of you who have the big Triton in a Router Table, did you take the clear dust shroud pieces off or leave them on? I took them off thinking it wouldn’t limit the flow.

I left mine on. I have an INCRA LS Wonder fence which also has an outlet to hook a vacuum up to and for some profile the hook to that but for others I use the one on the triton which really sucks the chips.

I also have an Incra setup with this router. I left the shroud on, and I get surprisingly good dust collection with my shop vac when it’s connected to the built in port on the router. I also have the Cleansweep insert rings which makes a noticeable difference.

Shroud on… great dust collection even with a small shop vac.

I have the triton in a cabinet where dust collection is connected to the cabinet and draws a vacuum thru the hole. I left the shroud on for a while, but it started to collect chips so I removed it.
