(Hypothetical question) Could a Sawstop blade guard be installed on a Delta contractors saw?

I know this is an odd question and I ask it more from a hypothetical point of view knowing that both machines are from different era’s and manufacturers.

I like my saw but the dust collection is horrible. If there was a way to retrofit my saw with a SawStop TSG-DC Dust Collection Blade Guard that would be fantastic.

You might be able to fit the basket to the Delta bracket, but wouldn’t it be just as easy to put a vac connection on the Delta basket? Even if it isn’t, you could buy a Shark Guard and have excellent DC, and still spend about the same.
