A friend of mine has a BIL that passed away and he had a cabinetmaker shop. She asked if I was interested in any of his tool and gave me pics. He had a Rockwell 9” contractor’s table saw. I can’t find any info on this saw, but wanted to know if this is something I should be interested in? or if I should keep saving for my Grizzly?

The saw appears to have a closed base cabinet, grill style side table extensions, a fence that moves on a tubular track mounted front and rear, and approximately 10% table top rust. What should I do, make an offer or walk away?

Hey Lisa
It has to be at least 50 + years old since they have made Rockwell anything since( I’m guessing) the 1950s
It doesnt mean it’s a terrible saw .I would not pay big dollars for it though and I wouldn’t consider it a long term saw.

Thanks Jim,
I have also found that 9” blades are hard to come by. I think I will pass this up and keep saving for the Grizzly.
