Geeezzze… Doesn’t Mother Nature know it’s supposed to be warming up?

I held off cutting my grass until today and in spots it was 10”, I refused to do it in a winter coat, and the high today was only 58.

I really hope not, because the cherries have formed on my Lapins Cherry tree (Like a Bing) and I’d hate to lose them. And no, it won’t be used for a project…

Global warming my ….

Frost warning here in northern NY too, Curt, but for tomorrow night. I’ve planted our garden for the second time. The first plantings got hit with frost so I shoved more seeds in the ground so of course it will frost again; why wouldn’t it.

LOL

I’ll betcha my boiler kicks in. It’s on a setback thermo but I bet in the morning… This is the longest I think I’ve ever had to keep the heat on. Most of the time late April of early May is enough. I woke up one day last week and heard it running, I’m thinkin’ wait a minute, it’s spring… Somewhere I guess. :)

FROST!!!! That is only a distant memory here in Kentucky. I was out cutting the grass today and right now with the temps in the 70 to 80s in the day and plenty of rain I am having to mow every three days. I don’t mind mowing but it sure does cut into my shop time.

No frost here but oh the rain. I had to replant too Dale. Mine gets washed away. We’ve already had over 10”. It was suppose to rain today but didn’t. So sloppy around here. Horses hoves stay wet. Can’t stay in the shop when the heavy rain comes without ear protection. 40×50 metal building. Temp has been in the upper 70’s – low 80’s during daytime. Tonight suppose to get down to 50’s.

About 70 at Seattle today. You guys had better get your smudge pots out for the fruit trees.

I remember one year in Late May, I was setting water on my dad’s corn field. It started snowing! I wasn’t very cold, in the low 50’s, but I was irrigating in a snow storm :-))
