Hey Moron:

I don’t know who Houzz is. Unless Vertical Scope sold out. (Have been off here for a few weeks.)

From a random comment by our “Administrator” prior to that, I understand that Garden Tenders was not part of the sale from Castle Media to Vertical Scope.

Haven’t looked at the site in a long time. Think I’ll pop over and have a gander.

I’ll let you know if I find anything else Moron.

Rick is correct. Garden Tenders was not part of the purchase by Vertical Scope. Our site will be updated to remove the Garden Tenders references soon.

A quick whois check appears to show it is still owned by Escalate Media.

Houzz did buy GardenWeb in case that’s creating any confusion.

“JA”: Just out of curiosity and I have no idea who “Houzz” is, also IP searches as above show other than Houzz.

Perhaps you’d be good enough to share where you got that information from?

OH! Just noticed “GardenWeb”. Is that the same site as “GardenTenders”?

Thanks: Rick

JA:

I did a bit of checking and I believe we’re talking about 2 different sites here.

All of the IP Info Is different and the main site is “Houzz.com” (Not A Link …unless it shows up like one …LOL…)They appear to be quite a large, overall home decorating site with many sections and forums.

I didn’t spend any time there but I’m going to go back and have a look see later.

Garden Tenders and that construction site were under-served, even when Martin ran the place(s) IMO. I would have liked to see a metal working (copper, in particular) site added, but Martin said he was not interested, when I asked. I also do metal working, and like the style of administration here. It’s a shame that it couldn’t have been added here as a sister site.

Sorry for the confusion. GardenWeb isn’t the same as GardenTenders. Yes, you did locate the right Houzz.com. I used to have a membership at GardenWeb where I contributed to the woodworking, furniture and cabinetry discussions. I also have a pro account at Houzz so when they were merged, I got to use one account to post on both sites.

Yea! Yea! Yea! You did that on purpose, just to see if I was paying attention or not. You almost got me!

However when I got back from the Bathroom, things were a lot clearer and I spotted it!

Just kidding of course “JA”. “Sorry for the confusion”. EH! Doo Doo happens. Nice of you to apologize though. The Mark of a True Gentleman! Thank You.

I can see from your explanation why it would be confusing.

Have a Great Day!

Regards: Rick

PS: Seeing as how this is “Morons” Post, Ill take the liberty of saying that the above would probably also apply as if from him. Another one of the “Good Guys”.
