Picked up some new to me equipment for the shop today.
I went to buy the jointer and he talked me into the sander and the clamps.
The jointer is a Delta 37-190. Needs new blades in a serious way, but everything else seems good to go. I will probably replace the bearings and give it a good cleaning.
Only thing is that the rpm’s seem really low compaired to the little Craftsman I was using. Not sure if that is normal or not. It seemed to have plenty of power when running a 4 inch wide piece of mesquite across it.
The sander is a Grizzly G1014Z 6” x 48” belt sander/9” disc sander. I did what would normally take me over an hour with a handheld belt sander in less than 10 minutes and that was with the old worn out belt on it. I think this thing will be a real time saver for me.
Finally, I got 31 clamps. 13 pipe clamps and 18 bar clamps ranging in size from 60” to 18”.
