I ordered 2 Carter Accuright bandsaw blades from Amazon yesterday. I have found very little information on the web about these. I was wondering if anyone had used these and if so, how well did they work?

Thanks

It appears that no one has used these blades. My main reason for ordering them was that the price was decent and the shipping was free through Amazon Prime.

Well, I received them a few days ago. I put the 1/2 inch resaw blade on my new grizzly go555x. I am new to bandsaws but this blade was awesome compared to the factory blade. I sawed a couple of walnut logs from a tree blown down by hurricane Rita in 2005. My dad and I had slabbed them out on his chainsaw mill a few months ago and the logs were about 3 feet long, 13 inches wide and 5 inches tall.

I managed to get 23 1×4’s close to 3 feet long from the 2 logs. The wood was still wet but the saw never bogged down. I took my time and didn’t force the wood. Needless to say, it was pretty darn cool to make my own lumber.

Once it dries I plan to make some cabinet doors. I will post some pics.
