Here’s one of the most amazing woodart sites I know of on the web. There’s no need for me to comment, just have a look. There’s a lot to see at this site, so explore it throughly.

Hi Don;
Very fine website and I also liked the ‘tree forms’ and wood sculptures.

Actually I surf down your way quite often and check out whats going on in timber framing, wood art and aboriginal art. It is from my studies into the aboriginal people and their art work that I am also developing a technique for coloring wood.

I often visit the website for the University of Tasmania and their furniture of art department, while I find the Design Center, Tasmania; an excellent source of viewing pleasure, coupled with there ongoing exhibitions into wood art, wood design and the artisist who make it all happen.

All in all, very good!!!
Godspeed,
Frank

Thanks sharing this site Don.
It’s amazing the patience this man must have to wait for his art to grow.

Here’s another website were the artist uses Mother nature to help create art.

Wow, Dick, it’s hard to believe this artist gets such smooth flowing lines from hunks of driftwood. I wounder how it all holds together and whether it’s strong enough to stand up over time.

We’re only limited by our imaginations, gentlemen. And some of you have GREAT imaginations. I enjoyed both sites. Thanks, Don and Dick.
