Most of the reveiws on this saw are a few years old. I’m considering this saw and looking for some perspective. Even if you have had it a few years I would love to hear how it has worked out for you

It’s worked out well for me.

I will say that you should take it to heart when they tell you that you should always use dust/chip collection when using the saw. I got a bit lax about it and in no time (it seemed) I had to unscrew the dust port and I was up to my armpit in pulling sawdust out of the bottom. I can see how it could get to be a big problem without too much time going by.

I have it’s ‘big brother’ G0690 and have been very pleased with it. I own several Grizzly tools and find them to be very well made. In addition, the customer service and tech support people at Grizzly are the best.

Sorry I have the have the G0713P, bought it new about 3 years ago. Have not a bit of trouble with it. I do recommend getting the appropriate mobile base for it, very handy. Also, +1 on using a dust collector with.

I also have a 690 and you do need dust collection.
The 690 is a fantastic saw and I really like the 3h.p.

I bought mine a little over a year ago. It was easy to set up and I have had no problems with the saw. The saw has done everything I have asked it to do. I purchased the Shop Fox mobile base with the saw and it has made it very easy to move the saw around the shop. I have only a shop vac for dust collection, and it does not have enough power to get the job done.
