Hey guys,

I’ve wasted to much time and energy on project from my own imagination, so I’m givng that up and going a a strict “plans only” project diet for a while.

Short term projects for the shop include a clamp storage rack and perhaps some shelves. I find cabinets tend to hide things and I’m an out of sight, out of mind kind of guy.

However, the reason for this note is to ask if anyone knows of some plans for an aside bench w/ storage cubbys underneath. OF course I remember seeing just that bench in the last couple months, but I can’t find it now for the life of me.

If this rings any bells, please give me a shout.

Thanks,

Milo

Hey heirloomJim,

Actually, I’m looking for a sitting bench for our sunroom, but I AM making a workbench too (ie FIRST :-), and I’m going with the Nicholson deisgn that I saw in Popular Woodworking. I bought “Workbenches: From Design And Theory To Construction And Use (Popular Woodworking)” by Christopher Schwarz, and as soon as it gets here, I’m starting cutting. The only difference I’ll make is I’m using weather treated 4×4 because I really like the added weigth it give a workbench. Minor pain to cut and drill, but work it.

Thanks Jim!
