I want to build an A&C lamp shade.
I am geometrically challenged.
3 way miters will be a challenge to cut, but worse, I can’t figure the angles.
Are there plans and directions out there?
I cannot find any other than a book by Adams, (first published around 100 yrs ago) with some line drawings. I ordered the book, but from looking at the sample pages, I’ll still be at a loss to figure the angles.

Thanks guys.

These instructions have some angles. Not sure if that will help.

Thanks a bunch 74 and Lew.
That’s exactly what I need. Pictures and an angle calculator.
Between the two, I think I can figger it out.

Roger, you gonna try something like an A&C lamp shade?
I see you got your 11th finger, too.

I think you’ve got your answers, but I wanted to say thanks for asking the question, this info is pretty useful.

I am laughing. Reminded me the time I filled my shop with plywood triangles trying figure out the roof for a cupola. I suppose “Liquid Nails” isn’t the answer your looking for. Lol.

Gene, thanks for asking and others thanks for answering.
