I have a new G0555 and love it but I have some issues maybe someone could help me with.

1) When setting the thing up for/with a 1/8 inch blade, its seem impossible to get the blade to stay in the crown of the wheel tire. Once it seems set, it wants t run to the back or the front of the wheel.

2) The lower guides are almost impossible to adjust with your fingers.

Other than that its a sweetheart

Heavy SOB

I should of gotten the mobile base when I got it

A 1/8” blade needs to be supported by the thrust bearing. No side bearings should be in play (see Carter bandsaw stuff).
Adjust the upper wheel so as the band will ride on the center of the upper wheel.
I’m fully aware of the Snodgrass video, and I have the 0555LX version of your saw. Adjust to make the blade track as it should, and the thrust bearing, the one behind the blade, is just a tiny bit behind.
1/8” blades are a bear to adjust unless you’re using Cool Blocks the enclose the width of the blade.
Just how I do it.

I couldn’t get the 1/8” blades to stay on my 17” Grizz until I backed the tension off. Then it worked fine. Those tiny blades don’t like much tension for some reason.
