Here is a message from JessEm, posted on WoodCen tral a little while ago.

Hello,

This is Patrick Curry, VP of Opertions at JessEm Tool Company. Jim Shaver contacted me to let me know the concerns customers are having with contacting JessEm.

I wanted to contact everyone and let them know that we have closed our Tennessee facility and moved all operations including manufacturing back to Barrie, ON Canada. We are currently experiencing phone problems which is the reason it has been difficult to reach anyone at JessEm.

Over the last year we have experienced difficulty in servicing our customers to a respectable level. For this reason, we decided to move all operations back to Canada. I want to apologize for any issue or inconvenience that this has caused.

Now that we are back in Canada, you will see a much improved service level including quality issues.

Please see the new contact information below for JessEm Tool Company:

I agree very interesting. I bought a Jessem table, masterlift, & mitre slide several years ago, put in a 3hp PC dedicated router. After a year or so I noticed a very slight sag in the table (no greater than 1/128th). I called Jessem and they immediately sent out a set of bolt in braces at no cost…it corrected the problem and I’ve had no problem since then. I was impressed with their service and wish them well.
