I made a cane handle for a fellow lumberjock and it turns out that we had a bit of miss-communication. He wanted a topper for a staff, and I made a cane handle. So here I am with a handle, but no material to make the cane. I’m wondering if someone could help me out with a piece long enough and thick enough to make the cane. It needs to be 2”x 2” x cane height. I’m willing to trade, I just don’t know what. Can someone help me out with this?
Here is the cane handle I made.
I'm also willing to sell the handle as is to someone who can add the stick.

I’d have to say that it would range from 32” to 36”. In my opinion, and I’m no cane expert, I think you should have a slight bend in your elbow, not to straight, not to bent. I’m hoping MMH or Mark A Decou could chime in on that. If I had a 36” length I would just cut it to be comfortable to me. But I’m 6’1”, so I may make it a little shorter then what I would like. I’ll most likely PM one of them after I receive the material.

I have a huge pile of 8/4 rough-cut walnut. Just let me know dimensions and if you want me to surface plane it out smooth. I am in the process of another walnut chair so I am sure I will come across a “scrap” piece close enough to your dimensions soon.
