Just wanted to let you know that in my opinion Mark A DeCou is a true craftsman of his craft. What is really great about lumberjocks, is that there is always someone out there that inspires us no matter what level of wood worker we are. Mark is one of these people that inspires me. If you ever need a custom walking cane, this is the man to do it for you. The pictures do not do this cane justice. Pictures do not show the touch, the fit, the detail, the balance and the pride that went into making this cane. This comes from perfecting ones craft over the years. Thank you Mark for your inspiration and a prize possesion I will cherish for the rest of my life. If you wish to see this cane go to Marks projects : #2009-08, Custom Walking Cane, Coiled Ribbon Twist, Spalted White Oak, Spalted Sycamore & Walnut Handle.

God Bless
Tom

Thanks Tom,

I totally agree with you about Mark.

I looked at your cane here, it’s a beauty.

Mark quietly goes about doing his work with professionalism and the kind of quality we all strive to achieve. The cane is a work of art!

Tom, I think that you’re preaching to the choir. I just hope that you only have to use your’s for a short period and then can delegate it to a site for the piece of art that it is.

You have a one of a kind collectors piece from a master craftsman! It doesn’t get any better. Congratulations to you both.

Yes, I agree Mark is a true “CRAFTSMAN” in every sense of the word. I stand in Awe at the quality of his work and detail and presentation. I only wish he live closer, so I could get a few Lessons.
