Topic tags/keywords: suggestion I don’t want to be a bother but it would be really nice if people didn’t complain so much about tools in the forum section. If you bought a tool and are having trouble you should post it in the Reviews section. Isn’t that what it’s for. Furthermore, you get what you pay for and if you aren’t buying a top quality tool expect to have problems. They’re less expensive for a reason. If you do buy a top quality tool then complain to the company and post a REVIEW. What if people started attacking the product you are making for them here? I’m near possitive your products aren’t perfect. -- ~ Inspiring those who inspire me ~ |

Maybe we should have a special forum thread on tool complaints. When put in a review it does cause clutter, as Gary said. -- -** You are never to old to set another goal or to dream a new dream ****************** Dick, & Barb Cain, Hibbing, MN. http://www.woodcarvingillustrated.com/gallery/member.php?uid=3627&protype=1 |

And no matter where you post. Should it be a tool ‘complaint’? Why not an objective review about what was wrong with it… let the reader decide if that issue is an issue for them. Consumer Reports does it right. You get all the facts and that’s it, good or bad but just the facts. -- The smell of wood, coffee in the cup, the wife let's me do my thing, the lake is peaceful. http://gagnerwebsite.com/Deceiver/Craftsman_on_the_lake/Craftsman_on_the_lake.html |

...and we need a special section for rants. Maybe we could split the lounge area. Monday, Wednesdays and Fridays, we can do jokes. Tuesdays, Thursdays and Saturdays we’ll reserve for rants. Sundays we can only talk about sex and religion. |

Yeah, it sounds a bit nit picky to me. I’d have to agree with Daniel and Dennis. |

“i dont keep up too much with the forums… could someone point me to an example of a “complaint”?” I think this is what he is refering to. This guy “joined” LumberJocks just to post this complaint (in 2 different forums even). http://lumberjocks.com/topics/7685 -- David, Southern Indiana |
