I have it listed a couple other places too. Nothing. Maybe it’s the wrong time of year or something?

Well,I would love to have it, but for me it is the issue of renting a truck and driving about 700 miles to get it! At that price I think it should sell soon.

That you aren’t getting a bunch of hits is really odd.

i would be interested but 1600 miles is too far…. sorry.

Getting responses, but people want me to give it away. I’d like to sell it to free up space in my cramped basement wood shop. It’s a nice jointer and I’d keep it, but at 66” long and 2’ wide (roller base) I just have no room for it. If you saw my basement shop you would understand.

Is that an aftermarket motor? Every 8” jointer that I’ve looked at was 220.

Yes it is, it’s a brand new 1-1/2HP Marathon motor. Marathon F15E1 Farm Duty 115v and can be wired 220v. I paid a lot for just the motor. I intended to keep this for myself but it’s too big for my use. Here’s the link at Marathon for the motor.

I so need one of these, and I live in NJ to boot. Not a great time for me to be laying out that kind of cash, but maybe I can convince my beautiful wife that this is a necessity. How’s the table, really flat? Is it ready to go or does it need any work?

Ready to go. Tables are flat and never had any problem with it.

Thanks for the great deal today on the jointer! This is perfect for me, and it’s plenty big enough for my purposes. Thanks Scott, I appreciate your hospitality and your good work. Very nice job with the restoring of the jointer, and your basement shop has some awesome machines in it!

Thanks again, I’m very pleased.

Ken, I’m glad it went to a good home. It was nice meeting you and your wife. Thanks again and I hope the jointer gives you many many years of service. Those jointers are really built well.

I know you sold the jointer, but I have the same jointer and the switch went out and I found another and it worked for a while before burning up the D508033-91 transformer. I found another one, but now it doesn’t start. Something else must be wrong.

Anyway, I notice you just have a toggle switch. How is it wired?
