Hi, I am new on here I run a small home shop business on my time off my regular job. I machine plastic mostly with my wood working tools. I have a 4×8 cnc router that I use to machine a lot of my plastic I also use a manual router table that I have PC 3 1/4 HP router mounted in with an Incra fence and a WP lift. I also use a Grizzley cabinet saw. Most of my equipment you find in a typical wood workers shop I just use the stuff on UHMW & HDPE plastics.

I have a Delta 50-760 DC hooked to my equipment for chip collection. I have been trying to find some filter bags to replace the stock filter on the Delta. I need pretty much the opposite of most wood workers the plastic does not create dust but large amounts of chips. The plastic chips embed into the fleece type lining of my stock filter bag and are almost impossible to clean off the fleece material. I would like to find a more course filter with no fleece for my machine. My online searches have found nothing but the original replacement.

Do any of you have a 30 micron canvas type filter bag with a 16” opening you would like to sell me or let me know where I can purchase one? I figure some of you may have upgraded your DC system to a finer bag or canister filter and may have one laying around.

Gundog, I’m sorry that I can’t help you with a replacement bag, but if you use a trash can seperator in front of your collector I think that you can eliminate alot of your problems. I recommend building a thien style dust collector, I have used one for 4” and 6” DC inlets.

Good Luck.
