Anyone interested let me know. The saw is clean, comes from school auction. It is single phase 3 HP. Comes with a Beisemeyer fence head and rails for 52” fence. It is however, MISSING, the front steel tube the fence rides on. The front tube could be easily sourced for this saw. Looks to be a very nice saw for the current bid price. It expires at 11:30 am so if anyone is interested I will need to know before 11 am.

I would buy it myself but we just bought another CNC. We have our other CNC for sale but until it sells, well my wife probably will be yelling at me. We rarely use the 2 PM66 saws we currently have.

I need to get to the shop and get to work, but I will be checking back to see interest.

A little more, current bid is 460. The missing steel tub could be bought for 240. shipped and that deal would come with brand new rails as well. If the saw can be bought for 800 to 1000, add in 240 for the missing steel tube and someone would have a decent saw for 1000 to 1200. Maybe not a steal, but decent.

Or use the existing rails, and buy a 2×3 steel tube from a steel yard, primer and paint the tube and bolt it on the existing rails. For 30.00 that likely would work fine.

Also, I think this saw is left tilt, which I personally prefer.

I plan on checking back, and if yall dont respond within a respectable amount of time, say 60 minutes or so, I promise to get upset and threaten to leave the site. But I will promise not to leave the site if you all tell me how much you want me to stick around… :) LOL

You have to blow snot bubbles before anyone will beg you to stay, oh, and convince them that the only way to do something is from buying some kind of crap. You need to post more, off the wall stuff, you don’t even have to read the original post, because we all know if you have a gazzillion posts, you have to be somebody right.

The saw would be a heck of a deal for someone, ‘73 PM66 here, don’t need another at this time, I’ll be looking around in Sept.
If I find something down in that area I may try to work out some details with you, I’m located up here on the Red river, between Dallas and Amarillo.

Haha. LOL.

I think the saw is a decent deal for someone. If I had not just spent several thousand in the past couple of weeks I would likely bid fairly aggressively. I just hope to help some fellow LJ here get a decent saw for a fair price.

By the way upinflames, I bet you are very happy with your PM66, they are a great saw.

Built like a tank, you can’t wear them out, I’ve tried, I would bet my sons can’t either, maybe the grandkids….

Two years ago I had to replace the motor, went with the 3HP Leeson, from Electric Motor Site, great people to deal with, I notice now they are on fleaby with a decent price on the motor

That is cool. I actually bought a 3 hp Leeson from them in past also, I burned out a motor on a Grizzly table saw and replaced it with the motor that was designed for the Unisaw. It worked great.

Upinflames, I am telling my wife you are the reason I am not getting any work done… I came in to generate a Gcode for some drawers I need to assemble today and seen you had posted. I tease with my wife all the time that I need to go inside to get some Gcode for the CNC, she is always accusing me of getting a Zcoding or taking a nap instead :)

Well have fun.

AFAIK, the front fence rail could be sourced from a Shop Fox Classic, HTC, Jet Xacta, PM Accufence, or Biesemeyer….maybe even a Steel City Industrial fence or the Saw Stop T-Glide, but am not sure about those.

I have large shoulders Jerry, I can carry the blame….LOL

Yeah knotscott, I have a steel supplier 35 miles from me that delivers,( I farm also, always needing to patch something up)I can get a full stick of tubing cheaper than going to one of the retailers. I do understand that most people don’t have that option. The best way to remedy that is to visit welding shops, machine shops and the such BEFORE you need something.

Only 19 minutes left, still at 460.00. That is a sweet deal for someone. Last chance guys.

If no one is interested, I might have to buy it myself. I hear it is better to ask my wife for forgiveness afterwards rather than getting permission before :) I just don’t need the saw…

Did you buy it Jerry? I was so tempted, I’m only 2 hours away…but I just bought my current saw and the statute of ‘wife didn’t kill me for that one’ hasn’t run out; I don’t really need that much saw, but for the price (it ended at $540 w/ tax etc) it was a bargain.

Hey Russde,

Hey, you could have told your wife that the saw would more than pay for itself eventually.

No, I did not buy it. Honestly I felt the value was very good so I did plug one bid pushing the cost up 10.00. But the other bidder had a higher ceiling on the bid and since I have no business buying a table saw at this time I elected to bow out. I had hoped to get a fellow LJ here interested, I thought it would be cool if a local LJ was able to get a good deal. But someone got a very nice deal at the price they paid.
