Congrats Scotsman! These are precious memories for you. I know you are looking forward to teaching him all he needs to know to grow up a man of integrity.
Congratulations Alistar on the new grandbaby. Grandchildren are the reward we get for having children. You will find that they are a lot more fun than their parents were (or at least from what I seem to remember).
Have fun and enjoy. My best to you and your family.
Quick, sign him up he can be the youngest LJ ! A little insight from an old hand at this (my oldest grandchild is in college) Grandbabies don't make you feel older, they make you feel younger, except maybe when you get up off the floor. Soon you will crawling on all fours and looking forward to play time, watching for the first tooth, picking out or at least editing clothes for the little guy. BUT there is one really important rule you must follow religiously, when wet or smelly of after spitting up Hand the baby to one of his parents. They must never be deprived of this experience.
Congrats Alistair! grandchildren are like having children, but without having to worry about it )
