Andy, that is a nice tool. I had very little success at sharpening my chisels and plane irons before I bought one of these. I did not realize how much fun it was to work with sharp tools until I sharpened my chisels on my Worksharp unit.

On my “To Get” list, please post a review. I noticed yours is a WS2000. What’s the difference between the 2000 and the 3000?

Happy birthday Pommy.
You are going to enjoy that shop aide for sure.
I have one and it makes life a lot simpler once you get it set up and all your chisels beveled to the same angles.
Try to pick up a coulpe of extra glass disks as changing paper on the go is not fun.
