Topic tags/keywords: woodworking show planer sander

Well – I attended the Woodworking Show in Kansas City, and the Schutte Lumber had a booth full of Powermatic stuff.
I have been interested in upgrading from my Dewalt 735 Planer and they had the PM 15HH with the Byrd head whispering its siren’s song.

I called my CFO, and she told me if it was a good price I should get it.
I ’protested’ that I don’t really have room for the beast…. and she said when I finish the two dressers I will have space for it and would regret coming home without it!

So not being one to disobey SWMBO…. I got the planer and a 16-32 drum sander.

They did 15% off +free shipping with liftgate service. So instead of 3059 the planer was 2600.99 and drum sander was 951.99.

So today I got a delivery at lunch!!

I will do a review of the process after I unpack and set up, if there are any special challenges getting the machines dialed in.

Women from Alaska are simply the best.

Shop entry is blocked at the moment, since I got 10 minutes notice, so it is into the main garage likely til the weekend.

Congrats.
