Hello – I’m building a breakfast nook and I’m trying to determine how wide to make the table. The space is 74 inches wide. Each bench top will be about 20 inches wide. Should the table edge overhang the bench edge? Thanks |

Thanks. I saw something similar. If I did that though I’d have a table that was at least 42 inches wide. That seems like it’s too big. I may go down to 36 or so and split the difference. |

Why is 42” too big? You want to be comfortable eating. Don’t make the table too small and then feel like you are sitting a mile away. -- Bill M. "People change, walnut doesn't" by Gene. |
