I am looking for a zero-clearance insert for the Grizzly line of band-saws. I was in the showroom a couple weeks ago and they only sell the factory replacement part. I googled it and found some that had the description that they fit most 10” to 14” bandsaws, including, xxx, yyy, Grizzly, zzz, etc.

Just wondering if anyone had bought any of these or knew of anyplace to get them that definitely fit. We measured and just about all the Grizzly wood-working bandsaws use the same insert. So if there is one that fit the G0555 or G0457 that would be great.

Rich, there was an article recently in one of my woodworking magazines about making your own out of credit card sized refrigerator magnets. I do not recall which one it was at the moment but will look for it. The magnets are easy to shape and hold well on machines with cast iron tops.
