Topic tags/keywords: question tablesaw grizzly 1023 fan blade tool parts motor 3hp saw

I purchased a used G1023 Grizzly tablesaw. The previous owner did not take very good care of it. The plastic fan blade was loose on the motor and hitting the guard cover so it is “ground down” on the end.

The Grizzly manual does not break down the motor parts to order a new fan blade. Does anyone know where I can buy one? The only information on the blade is B-6. (I assume that means 6 blades.)

Any help you can give me would be greatly appreciated. Thanks.

Hey there, that’s the same saw I have. My parts list (from the Grizzly website) shows that being part Reference #56-1, Part P1023SL056-1.

The helpful people at the Grizzly Parts phone number will fix you up with the right part (1-800-523-4777)

Here is the link to the parts list: http://www.grizzly.com/images/partslists/g1023slx_pl.pdf

hope this helps,
M

P.S. don’t use the motor without the fan, it will get hot very quickly and ruin the motor.

Thanks for your help, Mark. I looked at the parts list. I’ve got the old right-tilt saw so I’m not completely certain from the drawing if the fan blade is the same so I’ll give them a call next week. I couldn’t find a tag on the motor until I went to put the fan cover back on. There I noticed that it says 5HP, but my book says 3HP. In my parts list the motor is shown as P1023056 but only says MOTOR and not a size. The parts list that you gave me shows 3HP and 5HP. I hope Grizzly can clear this up for me. I appreciate your help.
