My next project is to build a bookcase with my 15yr old son, for my son. He is an avid reader, with many books. His current book storage (2 store bought laminated particle board book cases) is overloaded so there is a need. More importantly I want to build a fine piece of furniture together that will serve him for many years.

I’m not sure of the design but I and he like the look of some of the Old English or Chippendale bookcases we’ve found pics of. I am looking for suggestions on specific designs that folks may have built or even sources of designs. Thinking of dimensions up to 5ft wide and maybe 7 feet tall?

Thanks for any and all suggestions and ideas.

Dan
