Topic tags/keywords: question

I am having trouble finding anyone making custom makers marks. The type you hit with a hammer, not the burn in type.

I know fine woodworking did an article awhile back, but i can’t find it, and theres no way i’m going to subscribe to their site to pay for articles i already paid for once.

If anyone has a decent supplier for these could you please pass it on.
It will be greatly appreciated.

I have one for leather work from Tandy. I have never used it on wood, but I don’t know why it wouldn’t work. I’m not exactly sure where it is right now. It might be a little dull for wood since it is intended for damp leather. Might see what they have to say. good luck.
