I am looking for resources for articles on furniture styles. I have students who are interested in different styles and am struggling to find resources that are more interesting (newer) then our text book.
Any good websites I should check out?

Have you tried the local library? My library has a small section on design styles. Also, this website has a timeline tahat lists some major design periodshttp://www.onlinedesignteacher.com/furniture_design/furniture_design%20history.html . You could have them use something like it as a starting point for more in depth searches.
