I’ve just made a quantity buy – 2500 bf or so – and would be interested in wood-for-wood or tool-for-wood swaps. It was bought kiln-dried 3 or 4 years ago, and has just sat in a warehouse since – so it should be nicely stable.

I might swap for a LARGE heavy-duty shaper, jointer, planer or drill press – old is OK, and so is three phase. Jorgensen twin-screw clamps or 72xx series bar clamps might be interesting too.

Woods of interest would be domestic hardwoods or cheap strong foreign hardwoods, especially if you have thicknesses large enough for bowl turning.

Thanks for any offers!

I haven’t done much with mesquite – got any bois d’arc (bodark) or oak or or pecan? And if you have a good planer I might swap some wood for finishing to S2S or S4S. Send me a pm, thanks.

OK, I’ve got half of it in Dallas and half in Houston – AND most of it is S2S. Some pieces are longer 8/4 (12’ up, 4” wide), but most are 6/4 8ft+ by 8in+. Let me know ASAP if you want some. It’s KD, but is going to go back to ambient humidity in my garage. Best,

Your pick of the pile, BTW, as long as you put the stack back together when you’re done rummaging! If anybody wants just a board or two, I’d probably price it at 99 cents per bf – I think retail is around $2.70. Let me know (openly) if that’s too high.
