I was getting ready to order an 8” jointer from Grizzly when I realized some of the work I plan on doing requires glueing up 9 1/2” boards. I am wondering if any one has experience with the 10” jointers or any recommendations?

I wouldn’t have room in my shop for an 8” never mind a 10 :-) Don did a review on an 8” ( a quick search of the reviews might help.

If you have the room for it, BUY it. I thought I did not have the room for a 10” so went with a 8”. Let me say I absolutly love this Jointer it is a beast and if you can swing it money wise…make sure you buy one with a spirial cutter head.

Todd C. told me I should buy a 10” for the work I do…but again, I did not think I could fit a 10” in my shop…and it was a bit more $$$$$, while I still love my jointer….I am already regreting not buying the 10”
