Thanks, Mark. I assume you are talking about the Chipmunk on Leaves and not the Chipmunk on a Log. I did the Leaves piece as a challenge to myself and I’ve been very proud of how it came out, but it wouldn’t work for a class, so I made the design for the Log project much simpler. Glad you like it. That is funny, Jim. Actually I have lots of time because I’m not big on non-productive activities like house cleaning- LOL. Good thing I have a supportive husband. I just finished teaching carving for the New England Woodcarvers in Mass., and next week I’ll be heading back to hot as Hades Texas. Then I’ll go up to Minn. for another carving seminar in Aug. This is a busy year for teaching carving and promoting the new box book and carving video. I especially enjoyed my trip to Florida last month to teach band saw box making to a nice group of fellows there. I’m getting to feel like a world traveler. Someday I’ll have to stay home and make something out of wood! Donna
