Does anybody out there know where I can get a Krenov style radius plane. I want to make a coopered door cabinet. Or does anyone have a suggestion on how to deal with the inside of the door without one?

A spokeshave with a curved sole will work, although it will be a bit harder to control than a curved-bottom plane.

I got my 113 compass plane on e-bay. There are often a lot of them out there, though they aren’t cheap. It’s by far the oldest tool in my collection and gets a fair bit of use. It looks like there is a wide selection now: http://www.ebay.com/sch/i.html?from=R40&trksid=m570.l1313&nkw=compass+plane&sacat=0

Maybe a hock kit? Make two and send me one. :)

Not hard to make one.

I think Lee Valley sells some small radius planes. It
will be slower going with a violin type plane but
it will work.
